About Plot of Land for Sale
I was lucky to make some good contacts when researching plots of land for sale in the UK back in 2007. Everything went smoothly purchasing my plot outside London and I have since acted as a middle man helping other investors find plots of land for sale in the UK. In November 2009 I purchased this domain to list my findings / thoughts on land investment... Hope you like it?
Why do I love land?
Well, after graduating University I thought to myself "WOW... I have lots of debt, no real assets, no career" etc so what could I buy that would increase in value and help clear off some debt in a few years time!? After lots of research and a little white lie to the bank about my income I managed to buy a small plot of land using a shiny new credit card or two in 2007! *Please note I then worked very hard to pay these off!*
Did the value of my plot increased?
Yup! It is now on the market for three times the amount I paid and to be honest I would not like to sell it! I would say keep hold of any land you purchase / own for as long as you can afford to! History shows us that land will increase in value over time! Following the purchase of my first plot I then started to research plots overseas, visiting France and Bulgaria to view potential investment opportunities. Again funded by some shiny new credit card,s my next land investment was in Bulgaria. Read more

In terms of the last couple of years most of my time / energery has been put into our core business Tidy Design, land investment taking a back seat (for now).
I think the trick with land investment is to keep on searching, I mean you won’t find the perfect plot after 15 minutes on Google! These things take time and research! Yes, I do plan on investing in some UK land next year… 2010/11 was all about weddings, starting a family and re-investing in the business... In 2012 the hunt for new land and the development of this site will begin... Stay tuned!
